Marine Installations: Cargo- en Fuel heating for seagoing vessels

The high quality Konutherm marine thermal oil systems are especially suitable to keep heavy fuel (HFO) and/or cargo (chemicals) on the required temperature. The systems are designed for optimum heat recovery with special, high efficiency exhaustgas heaters (economizers) provided with a robust valve system. The heavy-duty economizer valve system combines optimum control of the required temperature and prevents degradation of the heat transfer oil. Another major advantage of the Konutherm exhaust gas heating system is that no dumpcooler-system (and corresponding dumpcooler pumps, piping, valves and fittings, etc.) is required! The Konutherm installations are commonly used on modern seagoing vessels such as chemical tankers, bitumen tankers, bulk carriers, ferries, roro’s and dredgers and combine an efficient fuel-saving operation with a minimum of service-requirement and downtime!
